All STLDW Training Programs will address the below behaviors & commands:
Behavior Modification:
-Mouthing
-Chewing
-Jumping
-Barking
-Potty Training
Basic Obedience:
-Walking on a leash
-Sit until Released
-Down until Released
-Climb on bed until released
-Coming When Called
Advanced Obedience:
-Off Leash Obedience
-Holding Commands While Company Enters Home
-Attending Crowded Events with other People and Dogs
-Holding an Extended "Down" at Restaurants or Breweries
-Passing Other Dogs Without Lunging or Barking
-Bike Training
How to choose a training program:
You want to be there every step of the way got train your dog? You are a candidate for Private Lessons BUT REMEMBER: you are the trainer & need to be consistent outside of your Private Lessons. Private Lessons are scheduled 1-2x per week for 4-6 weeks to complete basic training and require 1hr of practice each day.
You do not have time to train your dog on new skills & behaviors for at least an hour every day? You want a Stay & Train or Offsite Day Training option! These options are 1-6 weeks in length (depending on budget & goals) and allow your dog to be trained firsthand by Schylar, a Professional Dog Trainer. At the end of your program, Schylar will teach you how to reinforce training at home & maintain your dog's new skills. "How will my dog listen to me if you are the one training it?" Great question! A Coaching Session is done at the end of every Stay & Train or Offsite Day Training Program. Schylar will demonstrate your dog's skills & then coach every family member in practicing your dog's various commands.
